The Lord's Cupboard
food pantry

The Lord’s Cupboard is a free food pantry at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell, Iowa.

Open 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. on Monday
Open 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on first Monday of the month
​
Anyone in need may receive food and grocery items. Each year, church youth members coordinate a drive to collect nonperishable goods from the community to stock the pantry.

Tuesday Together Time
open to all
Every Tuesday at noon, members of the community gather at Bethesda to share a potluck meal and fellowship.
Bring a potluck dish to share (all tableware is provided).
Don’t have food prepared? Please come! There is always plenty.
If you desire, a container is provided for donations to go toward Global Good Gifts.
Winter Clothing Drive

Bethesda Lutheran Church hosts a drive every year to collect coats, gloves, hats and other gear needed to stay warm. Anyone in need can collect items for free for the cold weather season.
School Supply Drive
every fall season
Each year before the new school season begins, Bethesda Lutheran Church hosts a free school supply drive for the community. Anyone in need can pick up necessities and be more prepared for the year ahead.
